Q: Will a humid or corrosive environment cause a short circuit?

A: If the magnetic pin connector is not customized for the environment, a short circuit will occur. We design connectors according to the operating environment of the equipment. For example, in humid or corrosive environments, we add sealing structures (such as sealing rings) to prevent moisture and corrosive substances from entering. We also select corrosion-resistant plating and materials, and remind users to check the protective performance regularly.

Q: Will the gold plating on a 4-pin magnetic connector fall off if exposed to the elements for extended periods?
A: Theoretically, it shouldn't fall off easily. However, it may wear out over time if frequently plugged and unplugged or exposed to dust or salt spray. It's recommended to regularly wipe gently with an alcohol wipe; avoid scraping with hard objects. High-quality gold plating (≥1μm) significantly extends the lifespan.

Q: Will high temperatures cause performance degradation?
