Description and parameters
This lead-free pogo pin is constructed from the inside out with restriction compliance in mind. The barrel and plunger are machined from brass C0801 and finished with 0.125 μm gold plating. The spring is SUS304 stainless steel with a 0.025 μm gold coat. Zero lead, zero cadmium, zero hexavalent chromium - verified against RoHS 2011/65/EU and REACH SVHC substance lists, with full material traceability documentation on request.

Usage Precautions & Handling Notes
Installation:
This pin accepts axial loading only. Do not use it as a lateral alignment post or apply side-loading forces during assembly.
Soldering:
Mask or protect the plunger tip during wave or reflow soldering. Flux penetration into the barrel blocks plunger travel and degrades contact resistance. Post-soldering installation of the pin avoids this issue entirely where the process permits it.
Mating Surface:
This lead-free spring contact pin is optimized for gold-plated contact pads - ENIG finish (Au ≥ 0.05 μm over Ni 3–5 μm) gives the best long-term contact resistance and cycle life combination. Storage:
